Lakeland Kitchen Remodel Challenges:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Our Lakeland homeowners felt cramped and their space – congested. The kitchen had too many eating spaces and lacked sufficient storage.<\/p>\n The Novare Renovation Kitchen Solution:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>We reconfigured the space to create balance between room sizes and took down a wall between the kitchen and the dining room to resolve the congested kitchen situation. In reconfiguring, we redesigned a closet space for better traffic flow, added casual seating at the center island and moved a window to add a dry bar and increase privacy. We replaced old cabinetry with rift cut red oak cabinets with flush inset styling for a warm and contemporary look. In striving for a universal design layout, we added amenities and storage to the base cabinets to offset the storage eliminated by removal of upper storage cabinets. We installed granite and soapstone countertops, a mix of slate and ceramic tile on the backsplash and a flex oven – two small ovens within the space of one large oven.
